It has been more than 50 hours now, and I am amazed that none of the MNS workers or the leader(Read Mr. Thackeray) have appeared and offered to save Mumbai from terror attack.
They were the ones who were separating Maharashtra some days back and kicking non-Mumbaikar's out of Mumbai...What an irony... Many Hindi speaking bhaiyyas(as they were called by MNS) are now part of armed forces, sacrificing their lives to save Mumbai, which MNS thought was their property....
May God bless them with some intelligence, atleast now !!!

Indian politics-big time fraud
Who are the safest people in India???
Well none other than our POLITICIANS...
It is so strange and sad that nothing is done for safety of innocent citizens in such crisis situation but a politician gets best of security, even in normal days, when there is peace around. Yes, I understand they are important people and there is threat to their life but then they also do NOT have any right to disrupt the normal flow of traffic in peak hours, for their commute and create troubles for us, the citizens, who pay heavy taxes ... Its more than 48 hours and Mumbai crisis is still not over... Each politician wants publicity and wants to make speeches outside the affected areas along with their super-safe gang...The operation is still not over but seems, we have not learnt our lesson, even after this episode.
Earlier, it was only Jammu and Kashmir, which was labeled as one terror affected state...my home state and yes I felt miserable whenever my friends/colleagues made fun of the situation there, alienating the whole state as one of such regions of the country, which was terror stricken, as if we were not humans, as if we were happy living under the shadow of terror... now looking back in time, I feel if journalism had been so aggressive back in 1990 and they could have reported the militancy in Kashmir, may be we would have curbed the whole menace long back, may be we would not have suffered so much, may be this infection would not have spread to the whole country. We kept separating Kashmir and labeling it as one of the affected regions and now it is whole country, which is affected.
Why did not we stand up as ONE COUNTRY back then? Why do we take so much time to learn our lessons? Why don't we take initiative to vote and vow to make a change in our corrupt system? Why cant we kick out dishonest, criminal politicians...who are letting down our armed forces, who are letting us down... At this time of crisis, all the politicians are doing is blaming the current government and government blaming the neighboring country for spreading terrorism in India. So much so, that even senior politicians have tried their best to go to the spot, grab all the attention towards their speeches and make life of security men even more miserable, in providing security to them ...
Its high time, we Indians, get up and stand together in this war against terror!!!
Long live the heroes, the men in uniform, fighting for us.
Amen!!!

Kudos to TimesNow!!!
We have seen mindless journalism for quite a while till TimesNow Channel came and started the, what I call, the intelligent journalism in India. They have sensitized the News channels in India.
I made this observation first time, when they were covering a hostage situation at Chinore, Jammu. All the other news channels covered the event casually, going on and off for the commercial breaks but it was only Times Now, which kept covering the event uninterrupted, without any commercial break. This clearly indicates, the focus of the channel is not just earning money, but they are actually into serious journalism. Well, I don't say that by going on commercial breaks, the other channels become bad, but yes, it shows how insensitive are they to the event and the people associated with the mishap. And, also this channel does not indulge in dramatizing serious events and showing their version of the event. All they talk and show, is the truth. They don't indulge in stupid predictions and drama like many other News Channels in the business...
And when terror struck Mumbai, Times Now took the lead and yes, this time, the other channels followed it, by covering the event seriously. Well, most of the channels...
Keep it up, Times Now!!!
You guys are leading by example!!!

Where is our system leading to ???
I am proud of being an Indian!!!
Today, I am ashamed of the system that is surrounding us, a system that is rotten enough, not to be able to save its best of IPS officers...a system that does not care much about the safety of the citizens...
The terror attack at Mumbai and the sequence of events are very disturbing and are disturbing enough to an ordinary citizen like me..who looks upto the system for my safety. The same system, which cannot provide the best of safety gear to its men in uniform and lets them take the bullets on their chests...
What is happening ???
We need to have a better combat preparedness...we cant leave everything to God and send unprepared armymen to combat these well-trained beasts.. We cant let them die this suicidal death... We don't give even decent tele communication equipments to our security men who are fighting against terrorists who are using satellite phones...
Where in the world, will you find a brave man like late ATS Chief, Mr Hemant Karkare barging inside the terrorist's den wearing a sleeveless bullet proof jacket??? We are ready to loose our brave men owing to a corrupt system, which is so irresponsible towards us, the Indians...
If we do not wake up now, we never will !!!

Salute the men in uniform !!!
I am sure, the same feeling is being shared by all Indians today !!!
Salute the courage and sacrifice of armed personnel, in rescuing the hostages and fighting against the terrorist attach, in Mumbai. This is a moment, when we, all Indians are closely watching the events but they are the heroes, who are working day and night for our safety. Is this just a job? No!!!This is much more than just a job..No salary in the world can make anyone do this..It is just their love for the country and their passion, which is making them fight against the terror.
Long live, our real heroes!!!
